The bake element is found in the bottom of your oven, and is responsible for providing the heat for cooking. If your oven is not coming up to temperature, the temperature fluctuates, or it is not heating at all, there may be an issue with the bake element and it should be replaced. This part is an authentic OEM part, that measures approximately 15-3/4 inches long and 16-5/8 inches wide. The terminals measure approximately 3 inches long and they are spaced 1-3/4 inches apart. The electrical measurements for this element are 2600 watts and 240 volts. Before beginning this repair, be sure to disconnect the power supply to your range.

Bake element burnt out
1 Turned off power to stove at distribution box. 2 Removed oven racks to make room to work. 3 Illuminated oven interior. 4 Selected screw driver with largest grip, and correct phillips bit. 5 Undid two screws holding element to back wall of oven. 6 Gently pulled element towards front of oven to expose spade connectors to internal wiring. 7 Separated connectors and removed element. 8 Replaced with new element by retracing steps 7 through 1. 9 Success! Two difficulties: A. The retaining screws were stuck with age, and required a large torque to release. B. Similarly the spade connectors were stuck and required care to separate without damaging the wiring. Read more...

If the vent grille for your microwave has become broken or damaged, this is a genuine OEM replacement part. The vent grille is made of black plastic and measures approximately 24 inches long and 3.5 inches wide. Depending on your model of microwave, the vent grille may be found either above or below the door. This part is used to allow the microwave to vent while it is running. Common reasons you may need to replace this part is if the mounting brackets have broken, or the vent grille itself has cracked or become discolored.

FUSE

This ceramic microwave fuse is just over an inch in length. It is white in the center, and metal on both ends. This is a 20-amp fuse, and is used to power your microwave. If the touch pad on the microwave becomes unresponsive, the microwave produces little to no heat, or the appliance simply does not turn on, it could mean that your fuse is at fault and needs to be replaced. Because this part contains an electrical charge, remember to disconnect power to the microwave unit before you begin this repair. NOTE: Before you start this repair, ensure that the microwave is unplugged, and the capacitor is discharged. A capacitor stores large amounts of electricity even after your microwave is unplugged.

Microwave was totally "dead".
This microwave is positioned above the stove and under a cabinet. The fuse can be replaced by leaving the microwave intact. First, unplug the unit. Use a phillips screwdriver to remove the outer exhaust vent cover. On the right (next to the clock) remove a 2nd metal cover (about 2" x 4"). Use a flashlight and look into this cavity right behind the clock. You will see the fuse. Reaching the fuse presents a problem as most hands are too large. However, I was able to remove the old fuse and insert a new one with a pliers. Be careful in 2 respects. First, make a foil tray and place it below the fuse. In case you drop the fuse, you can catch it. Second, grip the fuse firmly, but not hard so as to avoid breakage. Replace the metal cover and the vent cover and plug in the unit. BINGO, it works! No heat and received F2 and F3 codes indicating defective oven sensor.
Shut power to oven. Removed oven from cabinet and placed on stool. Unscrewed old oven sensor from inside of oven and detached sensor cord from back of oven to remove sensor. Screwed new sensor on inside oven and then ran connection cord through the back of oven and out to be plugged in on rear of unit. Slid oven back into cabinet. Turned power back on to oven and tested the oven to make sure it heats up properly. Very easy installation and it saved us a fortune. Cookies came out just perfect! Read more...

If your oven door is not opening or closing easily, there may be an issue with the door hinge. The hinge uses spring tension to allow the door to stay open at an angle instead of dropping open. This genuine OEM hinge can be used on either the left or righthand side of the door, and measures approximately 20.5 inches long. This part is sold individually, however we recommend replacing both hinges at the same time, as they can wear out a similar rate.

Oven door Hinge was broke...Door would just fall open
Watched the video on the repair you supplied...gave us confidence to make the repair. As easy as the video shows. We went ahead and bought 2 hinges and replaced both sides, since we had it apart...We, however, took the opportunity to take the door completely apart and clean it very good. Went back together easy. The new parts fit perfectly and my oven looks and works like it is brand new..New light bulb was a snap too. So glad I found this company....fast shipping too. Will always look here first in the future. Read more...

This secondary door switch is also known as a micro switch, and it is a genuine OEM replacement part for your microwave. The switch communicates with the electronic control board, to let it know if the microwave door is open or closed. The purpose of this is so that your microwave does not operate while the door is open. When the door is shut, the switch closes and the circuit completes allowing the appliance to operate. If the switch is faulty, it may result in your microwave not working properly when the door is closed, or it may run when the door is opened, neither situation is ideal and the switch should be replaced. Use extreme caution when replacing this part, as the capacitor is able to store large amounts of electricity even when the microwave is unplugged. Be sure to discharge the capacitor first, or if you are not comfortable completing the repair yourself, please call a service technician.

With microwave door open, microwave was on and running.
I unplugged the cord from wall outlet, so I would not get shocked. I unscrewed the two screws from above the door, and took off the bracket. Then, above the buttons was one screw holding it to the microwave. Remove screw and pull up on the buttons piece, and it comes lose. I let it hang. I unscrewed the door switches bracket (2 screws) and it came lose. I took The secondary door switch and monitor switch (look at both switches very carefully, there is a difference, where the wires attach to the switches.) are on the bottom(middle, and bottom.) and put back together in reverse order. All done! If by chance you open the door and turn table does not work. Replace the fuse behind the button piece. It works!!! All done Read more...
